Welcome to Oakwood International Fellowship of Christ Megachurch, or Oakwood for short. Here at Oakwood, we pride ourselves in welcoming our doors to all ethnicities and nationalities to practice Christianity in peace.
Administration
Manages the many committees of Oakwood. Responsible for the overall well-being of the church, including connections with outside societies and charities. Also includes the worship committee.
Current head: Son Hyunwoo
Hyunwoo is the youngest head of the administrative team since Oakwood was founded.
Finance Committee
Handles the economic responsibilities of Oakwood, which is composed of highly trained individuals. Often works with the Social outreach committee to plan fundraisers.
Spotlight: Yoo Kihyun
Kihyun is currently attending University as a business and economics major.
Welcome Committee
In charge of introducing new members to Oakwood.
Spotlight: Im Changkyun
Changkyun, the son of Oakwood's founder, has been praised for his leadership and wisdom beyond his years.
Social Outreach Committee
Organizes the many events that occur within the Church. Also runs events such as fundraisers along with the finance committee.
Spotlight: Lee Minhyuk
Minhyuk is Oakwood's posterboy and brings youthful bright energy to the congregation.
Liturgy Committee
Makes sure Oakwood looks immaculate at all times. Decorates the church at special times of the year in conjunction with the Christian calendar.
Spotlight: Chae Hyungwon
Hyungwon is well known around the congregation for his dedication to the presentation of the church.
Music Board
Includes choirs and special musical performances, along with choosing hymns and running sound and audio for day-to-day services and events.
Spotlight: Shin Wonho
Wonho is currently the youngest member of the music board, handling audio and visual for countless services and other functions in and out of Oakwood.
Kids, Youth, and Young Adult Zone
Invites young people to explore their faith through Sunday School, special services, events, activities, and camps.
Spotlight: Lee Jooheon
Jooheon, the young adult leader, is praised with revitalizing the program and helping many young people re-discover their devotion to their faith.
chrXst
Oakwood's main pride and legacy is the boyband, chrXst. All of the members of chrXst attended Oakwood since birth, and were baptized and educated here together under our Christian doctrine. From a young age, they each showed an interest and talent in music and performing.
With the help and encouragement of the adults and music directors at Oakwood, they formed a boyband in their youth. As they began performing regularly at all types of services, they became very popular with the congregation. They eventually became minor celebrities within the local christian community, and began selling out entire shows hosted at Oakwood.
Along with the duties of being in a popular boy band, the members each showed aptitudes in leadership, showed high levels of responsibility, and were perfect examples of the morals Oakwood holds dear to it's heart.
However, as the group members got older and busier with their church duties and careers, they decided it was time for them to move on, and held one last show as a group.
Since then, the members have each found ways to help out within the church community to show their devotion to God.
